Yuanchuan Lien received his Ph.D. in Economics from Stanford University. His research uses game theoretical and experimental approaches to study equilibrium properties and bidder behavior in multi-unit auctions, including simultaneous ascending auctions and core-selecting auctions. Yuanchuan has experience on many auctions, most recently on the Canadian 700MHz, AWS and 1800MHz spectrum auctions. He has also worked on several European spectrum auctions. Yuanchuan has worked as a postdoctoral researcher in Caltech and as an assistant professor in Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
